Every cake is made from scratch in our Island Health–permitted studio with locally sourced, seasonally inspired ingredients from Vancouver Island and across BC. As a licensed and insured business, we take safety and professionalism seriously. Whether you’re planning an elegant wedding in Victoria, a destination celebration on Vancouver Island, or a one-of-a-kind cake for a special milestone, we’ll bring your vision to life. ​

Allergen Requests 

  • We operate a nut-free kitchen and can create cakes using gluten-, lactose-, dairy-, and soy-free ingredients (flavour restrictions apply).

  • Please note there is a 30% surcharge on the base price of each cake to accommodate increased ingredient cost and time sanitizing our facility. This surcharge does not impact the cost of design options, services, or packaging fees.

*Fully edible design options included in wedding and celebration cakes are zero-rated for GST (0%) and exempt from PST. Non-edible or partially non-edible decorations (e.g., fresh flowers, wired gum paste flowers, acrylic or wood toppers, and non-edible metallic accents) are considered taxable goods and are subject to 5% GST + 7% PST. These items will be itemized separately on your invoice, so tax applies only to the value of the taxable portion.

Packaging
Applies to all custom orders and may include the use of a reusable CakeSafe for secure transport.

Pick-up, Delivery, & Setup

  • Pick-up | Weekdays, 10 am–4 pm at Island Chef Kitchens, 2620 Mica Place

  • Standard Delivery | Within 15 km: $15–$25 + GST

  • Multi-Tier Delivery & Setup | Within 15 km (includes 1 hour of setup): $75 + GST.

    • Beyond 15 km: $1.35 + GST per km (round trip)

    • Additional setup time billed at $50 + GST per hour
