Yes — Darling Cake Co. specializes in luxury, custom wedding cakes in Victoria, BC and across Vancouver Island. Every cake is thoughtfully designed to reflect your event, venue, and personal style.
Do you deliver wedding cakes across Vancouver Island?

Yes — we provide delivery and on-site setup throughout Victoria and Vancouver Island. Each delivery is quoted individually based on location and requirements.​

Additional Pass-through Fees: Non-resident business licensing, lodging, commercial kitchen rental fees, and fees for destination weddings across BC and the Yukon Territories may apply depending on your wedding destination. We are happy to work through the process if you would like to reserve us for your date.

Do you have a storefront?

No — we operate from a private, Island Health–permitted cake studio that is not open to the public.

Darling Cake Co. holds an intermunicipal business license in the CRD, is actively insured, and fully compliant with Island Health food safety requirements.

Pick-ups are available Wednesday through Friday, 10a.m. – 4 p.m., via our pick-up partner, Island Chef Kitchens.

​Absolutely — we frequently incorporate colour palettes, florals, and styling details to complement your celebration.

What is included in a standard cake design?

One custom pastel colour, smooth or textured buttercream finish, top and bottom border piping, and a short custom message​.

Additional elements such as fresh florals, gold leaf, or sculptural details can be added.

How much does a wedding cake cost in Victoria, BC?

Pricing is tailored to each event and reflects the size, flavour, design complexity, and level of detail required to bring your vision to life.

Single-tiered cakes start from $130+​

Multi-tiered cakes start from $250+​

Do you have a minimum order?

Yes — during peak wedding season (May through early October), we require a minimum order of $350 for Saturday and Sunday wedding dates.​​

Weekday weddings are more flexible, with no minimum order required.​

Can I pick up my Wedding Cake?

Full-height multi-tiered cakes must be delivered. ​

Single-tier and half-height two-tier cakes can be picked up on Fridays and stored in the refrigerator until 3–4 hours before your planned serving time. Design limitations apply.

Do you offer gluten-free or dairy-free wedding cakes?

Yes — we offer cakes made with gluten-free, dairy-free, lactose-free, and soy-free ingredients, with some flavour limitations.

Please note: while we follow strict sanitation guidelines in our commercial kitchen, Darling Cake Co. is not a fully allergen-free facility, and cross-contamination may occur.

Is there an additional cost for dietary accommodations?

Specialty dietary options are subject to a 30% allergen surcharge on the base price of your cake.

No - we do not offer partial allergen-friendly cakes, but we are happy to recommend other trusted bakeries or work with you to source additional options.

Yes — we offer curated tasting boxes available for pre-order several times a year, perfect for experiencing our flavours before your celebration.
